“Gratitude for the seemingly insignificant—a seed—this plants the giant miracle.”
― Ann Voskamp
Every new day presents you with opportunities...I encourage you to take the opportunity to appreciate all of the positive parts of your life.
Take a moment to consider the huge number of processes that take place every day within our own bodies. For instance, we breathe all day, every day without even having to monitor it. Let's give thanks for our breath, something that happens without thought or intention, yet something that is essential to our life. There are so many working physical, body systems (tiny miracles) that help us us maneuver through our day, the list of gratitudes is practically endless.
When we begin to notice these simplistic but essential elements of our daily lives we can see how many things there are to be happy about. This shift in focus allows us to see even more good and create a feeling of abundance within.
Try to start each day with 3-5 things you are grateful for that you have not considered in the past. See what you can imagine, write them down, or just picture them in your mind. It is truly a powerful and positive way to start your day (and quick and easy too, you don't even have to get out of your warm bed to do it).
